Abstract:The choice of hotel location is related to tourist spatial patterns in large, medium and small scales. The concerned tourist spatial behavior patterns are:
A. The preference of taking a trip to first-class tourist attractions. B. The idea of getting to as many first-class resorts as possible. C. The phenomenon of travelling to nearby tourist places. D. The tendency of travelling to places close to their temporary residence.
To choose the location of a hotel based on tourist spatial behavior pattern, we come to the following conclusions:
A. In the same tourist region, it is not sensible to build a hotel either in a relatively inferior tourist attration or in a city which is not a tourist center.
B. It is not a good idea to locate hotels a small residential aera between a tourist center city and a scenic spot that is within a day-trip distance.
C. If tourist attactions are scattered around a tourist center city, hotels should be built only in the tourist center.
D. Hotels can be built in a tourist resort between a tourist center city and another scenic spot within a day-trip distance if there is a chance to stop the tourist.
